Refund Policy

Thank you for booking your place at this year’s BBTB conference. Unfortunately we are unable to offer any refunds once tickets have been paid for. If you wish to transfer your ticket to a third party please let us know so that we can update the delegate list.

Bible By The Beach is committed to preserving your privacy. This privacy policy explains why we obtain, store and process data that can identify you.

Why we collect your information

When you visit biblebythebeach.org we collect standard internet log information that helps us to analyse details, such as number of visitors to the site and patterns in visitor behaviour, which enable us to improve the user experience. We collect this information in a way that does not identify anyone.

If you visit the booking / child registration pages of this site you will be asked to provide us with personal data, such as names, addresses, telephone and/or email addresses, etc. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it. You will also be asked for payment details in order to process your ticket order through the Braintree payment portal.

How we use your information

We may use your information to contact you with information about forthcoming BBTB events and/or to notify you of changes or developments to our site or our services. If you would prefer us not to do this please contact us and we will comply with your request and, if you so wish, your details will be removed from our databases.

Retention of Data

All data that we retain is protected in accordance with best industry practice, including password protection, data encryption and firewalls. None of the data we collect is released to any unrelated third party. All data is processed in house by our own staff and volunteer teams or by Braintree (braintreegateway.com).

We retain data for as long as we need it or until you request that the data is destroyed or erased.

Data Protection

You have various entitlements under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 and the way in which we comply with these is set out below.

If there are any changes in the information you have given to us, please inform us of these changes using the email address at the end of this privacy policy. If you feel that any of the information we hold about you is inaccurate or if you wish to withdraw your consent to us dealing with your data in any way please let us know using the same email address.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email the address at the bottom of this privacy policy. We make a charge of £5 for this service.

If you feel that the way we are handling or using your data is causing you damage or distress or if you have any other complaints please contact the Chair of Trustees using the same email and we will endeavour to rectify the situation.

Security

Keeping information about you secure is very important to us. However, no data transmission over the internet can guarantee to be totally secure. As a result, whilst we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which you send to us, and you do so at your own risk.
